Although there is technically no limit to the number of plugins you can add to your WordPress website, we highly recommend limiting plugins to only the most essential for your site. We actually try to limit most sites to no more than 20 active plugins to help with site performance and security.

Great question! Most plugins accomplish one or two small things. In these cases, we try to either include these in the theme or even update a site with the necessary HTML/CSS/PHP. The best way to determine if you need a plugin or not, though, is to just ask us. Each website and case is different and we don’t mind spending a little time with you to make sure your site has the best setup to accomplish what you need.
